Yes. I welcome a play list giving us an indication of your favourite tunes, artists or bands. These help me to get an idea of what you are looking for. Ideally I would suggest a maximum of 25 tracks or artists on your list to ensure we can incorporate other requests and have a balanced evening.

I will of course also play reasonable and appropriate requests from your guests at the function to ensure they too can hear their favourite tunes.

Don't forget you are paying for expertise in the disco experience, so I will incorporate tracks from play lists or requests where I feel they will work best."

Yes. The majority of the parties I perform at have mixed ages so I have a wealth of experience in playing music to suit them all.

Yes. The disco will include over-head FX lights (normally sited above the DJ).

30 minutes with 20 minutes to pack away at the end. Always allow an hour for planning purposes

I am based in Durham (North East England) and play mainly at venues within the North Of England, however I do cover the whole UK and beyond.

Yes. I just need two 13-amp plug sockets relatively close to where the disco will be situated.

Yes, once I receive your deposit alongside your booking form I confirm receipt of your booking in writing meaning we have a legally binding written contractual agreement.

This guarantees total peace of mind for our clients who can relax knowing that everything to do with their booking is finalised.

I have a "smart casual" policy which allows our DJs to work comfortably. However should there by a requirement for a different style of dress just let me know via that section on your booking form.

I ask for a deposit to show commitment to the booking. If you later cancel, this deposit is non refundable. A booking is only considered confirmed in my diary upon receipt of the deposit.

I will provide a replacement.

Yes, I am covered for £10,000,000. As a professional mobile disco I like to do things properly and make sure we've got every angle covered.

Booking your event with The Disco Co is easy and hassle-free. You can book your event by phone or email. All bookings require a deposit at the time of booking, and the balance should be paid via bank transfer 2 weeks prior to the performance date, if paying by cheques this needs to be 3 weeks prior to performance date. Only with prior written approval will cash be accepted on the day of the performance, and must be paid prior to the start of performance.

The biggest concern voiced by prospective clients is the volume level of the music. I know how to keep the volume at a level appropriate for the guests. I call it the "Goldilocks Zone", not too loud, but not too quiet.

There is more to a DJ performance than just playing music. I will not only keep the music and atmosphere going but will handle announcements and help coordinate everything so that it runs smoothly. I can also enhance any evening with a carefully crafted series of party games so the party is constant.

I am aware that I can't possibly know about every aspect of music and entertainment. Your input and suggestions are welcome! I am there to keep you and your guests happy.
